PDQ have been asked to provide the below services for the East River Terminal HAZOP study, in Barrow in Furness commencing the beginning of October.  The period of the assignment is 8hrs a day, 3 days a week (Tuesday to Thursday) for a total of 5 weeks.

PDQ is providing HAZOP services to Shell for Pearl GTL in Qatar.  This major Gas to Liquids project comprises two offshore wellhead platforms supplying 1.6 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas to the onshore GTL plant, which will produce 140,000 bpd of liquid products and 120,000 bpd of associated condensate and liquefied petroleum gas. PDQ is also providing HAZOP team leader training to Shell International.

Team Leader
Over 50 HAZOP / HAZID / SIL team leaders are available with experience in chemicals, oil & gas, nuclear, energy and transportation. Each team leader has at least 20 years practical experience in their field.

Recorder
Experienced secretaries are available to record HAZOP studies using a variety of software packages.

Independent Process Engineer
Senior chemical / process engineer with at least five years in the relevant process technology. Independent of the design team, their role is to question design assumptions, to ensure the design follows appropriate standards, to advise the team on process technology and confirm the likely consequences of process deviations.

 

We have several HAZOP and HAZID studies underway at any given time. These range from mini-HAZOPs to detailed HAZOPs lasting weeks or months. We are interested in adding highly skilled people to our resource pool. If you have a strong engineering background with a good understanding of operations and current HAZOP experience, we may have an assignment for which you would be suitable.
